Deliver your data to Dropbox

Whatever data your scraper extract, you can send it to your dropbox.

For Dropbox delivery, please follow the below steps:

1. Link to your Dropbox account
2. Enable your scraper to deliver data via dropbox

Step 1: Connect to your Dropbox account:

In this step, you will connect your Dropbox account with ProWebScraper to deliver scraped data.

1. Go to “Global cloud storage setting”
2. Select tab “Dropbox”
3. Click on button “Authorize” to connect your account

• Login to your Dropbox account
• Click on Allow to grant ProWebScraper access to your folders

• You can see your Dropbox account is successfully linked.

Note: In future, if you want to stop delivering data to your dropbox account, you can click on Disconnect.

Now let’s go to step 2, to enable scraper to start delivering data to dropbox,

Step 2: Enable scraper to deliver data in Dropbox

Follow below steps to deliver data of any scraper to Dropbox:

1. Go to the scraper for which you want to deliver data via email. In this case, we are going to tripadvisor scraper > Cloud storage 
2. Go to Application > Dropbox
3. Enable option “Allow Scraper to Dropbox delivery”
4. Choose when to publish data to your Dropbox account
   • • Automatic [when any job is finished]
     • Manual
5. Choose the file format you want to deliver via email.
   • • CSV
     • CSV ZIP
     • JSON
     • JSON ZIP

Now, Every time the Tripadvisor scraper finishes a job, it will deliver the data to your Dropbox account.

To test, run the Tripadvisor scraper 

Once the scraper job is successfully finished, go to your Dropbox account.

You will see the latest file is delivered to your account.

How you can manage scraper globally

Let’s say, you want to enable or disable Dropbox delivery for multiple scrapers, without going through every scraper.

To can manage multiple scraper delivery:

1. Go to “Global cloud storage setting” > Dropbox
2. Click on “Manage scrapers for dropbox delivery”
3. You will be redirected to screen like the below screenshot:

From this screen, you can perform below actions for all your scrapers:

1. When to publish data
2. File format
3. Enable or disable delivery
