Basic overview of proxy

What is a proxy:   A proxy acts as a go-between for you and the internet. If you use a proxy server, any request you make will first reach the proxy server. The proxy server changes your IP address before connecting you to the website. 

Data center proxy: A data center proxy is basically an IP address. It is hosted on different cloud servers. Your connection requests will be routed through the proxy server before reaching the website you wanted to browse. Data center proxies are not linked in any way with your ISP (internet service provider), unlike your own IP address.  While data center proxies let you hide your own IP address, it’s easy to spot that they’ve originated from a data center. 

Highly anonymous proxy:  By using highly anonymous proxies IP addresses, you can keep your own IP address hidden. That will let you scrape data even from geo-blocked content pages. And because these IP addresses are provided by the ISP, they can’t be banned.
