Column Settings

"Column Settings" tab offers options to help you manage columns and the data within such columns.

Elements of the Column Settings

1. Rename column: It helps you rename the column header.
2. Set default value: It automatically sets empty data points in the column to a default value.
3. Show in group: It merges multiple rows of data into one row
4. Set regular expression: It enables the user to input regular expression to match and/or replace for patterns in text.
5. Clear data: It removes all data from a column.
6. Use manual XPath: It allows users to input XPath to manually select elements of a web page from the HTML source code.
7. Use CSS selector: It allows users to input CSS selector to manually select elements of a web page from the HTML source code.
8. Required field: When you enable the required field, you can stop scraper automatically when consecutively 50 times the column cell is empty.
9. Capture this link's URL: It extracts the URL along with the link text.
10. Capture next page link: It extracts the pagination links.
11. Download images: It downloads the file behind a link or downloads the selected image.
12. Duplicate column: It creates a duplicate of the selected column to the right.
13. Add column: It adds a new column to the right of the selected column.
14. Delete column: It deletes the selected column.
